Copper Reducing Coupling MF

Copper Reducing Coupling MF – Capillary & High Pressure Concentric Reducers

The Copper Reducing Coupling MF (Male/Female) is a precision capillary fitting designed to join copper pipes of different sizes. One end fits securely into a larger fitting, while the other accepts a smaller copper pipe, making it ideal for step-down connections in water, gas, and high-pressure systems.

Available in both capillary (15–25mm) and high-pressure (32–150mm) sizes, these reducers are manufactured from durable copper and comply with Australian Standards AS 3688 & AS 1432, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and long-lasting. When used with Type B copper tube, they achieve working pressures of 3500–5290kPa depending on size.

These fittings are designed for use with silver brazing alloy to provide a strong, leak-proof joint. Copper’s natural benefits β€” corrosion resistance, fire resistance, recyclability, and long service life β€” make it the material of choice for Australian plumbing installations.

Key Features:

  • Concentric copper reducer, Male/Female connection
  • Joins a larger fitting to a smaller pipe
  • Suitable for water, gas & high-pressure applications
  • Silver brazing alloy compliant (AS 1167.1)
  • Manufactured to AS 3688 & AS 1432
  • WaterMark approved for compliance & safety
  • Strong, durable & resistant to dezincification
  • Maximum temperature: 80Β°C

Maximum working pressure: 2000kPa

Note: Installation must be carried out by a licensed plumber if connected to the mains.
