Trap extensions (Cap & Linings) .
These are used to adjust the height of trap work, especially used in conjunction with double bowl connectors. They can also be used to make other height adjustments in the trapwork.
The top has a female loose nut fitting, and at the bottom, a thread to mate with next fitting. It does not glue with PVC pipe.
They are available in a range of lengths and now includes adjustable varieties. Diameters available are 40mm & 50mm.Â
By law, only a Licensed Plumber can install traps and DWV fittings as they are part of the sewer system.
